Vanessa Johnson’s path to immigration law is personal. As an immigrant herself, she understands that the process is about families, futures, and opportunity. Since being called to the bar in Ontario in 2020, she has represented individuals and families through some of the most important and critical moments of their lives.

She has appeared before the Federal Court and the Immigration and Refugee Board, successfully representing clients in a broad range of cases including detention reviews, refugee claims and appeals. She has  successfully prevented the removal of numerous clients and assisted them in securing permanent residence and citizenship status. She is committed to providing diligent, ethical, and client-centered representation, guided by careful preparation, sound legal judgment, and a steadfast commitment to protecting her clients’ rights and advancing their interests at every stage.
